Chicken body temperature change is an important indicator to reflect chickens,health.This is mainly reflected in two aspects:On one hand,knowing the role of chicken temperature change is conducive to a better understanding of chicken.Such as for the drinking,eating habits,especially important for the behavior during the egg-laying.On the other hand,chicken as a constant temperature animal,relying on heat production,heat insulation,heat preservation to maintain a constant body temperature.Body temperature change helps reflect the health status of chicken.China now popular with some common diseases.These diseases of chicken have shown abnormal changes in temperature characteristic,so by monitoring the chicken temperature change,we can predict illness.It also provides lots of data to support for a better understanding of the daily chicken behavior.For these reasons,the subject developed a wireless wearable sensor equipment for monitoring layers’body temperature and based on temperature sensing device,we carried out a series of experiments to find out the chicken temperature change in every day.The main research of this thesis is:(I)We developed a low power,small size of wireless terminal node and "wireless + wired"cable transmission systems to meet the difficulties that the existing transfer methods cannot meet the application of the breeding field of chicken.(II)The body temperature under layer breasts and on legs was determined.Compared with layer leg’s temperature,breast had a higher and more stable temperature,which better fit the acknowledged layer body temperature.The anal temperature was also measured in this experiment as a contrast.However,we found that anal temperature of the chicken had a larger fluctuation range than expected,at the same time,significantly higher than normal.(III)To study temperature change during daily activities of the layer and temperature variations during chicken get sick,death,we also acquired ambient temperature.The ambient temperature acquired in this experiment was associated with the body temperature of the layers(P<0.01)during the day or night.In this study,there was a short peak of body temperature change after laying eggs.The average duration of temperature changed during the oviposition is 64 min and 0.28° C higher than normal body temperature.High ambient temperature and large ambient temperature fluctuation cause layers’ diet sharply reduce than in a comfortable temperature.The figure showed that when layer fell ill,its temperature fluctuations significantly different from other healthy layers.(Ⅳ)The wireless temperature sensor monitoring system is applied to large-scale farms.In the test,chicken body temperature wireless sensor nodes showed good adaptability.Chickens reared in normal temperature conditions,the chicken body temperature ranges at 39 degrees to 41 degrees.Presents the same under the same circadian rhythm with ambient temperature change.
