Abstract/Summary:
Antenna as a main components to convert guided wave into electromagnetic wave to transmit at wireless network and wireless equipment,it’s plays a very important role at wireless communication.And dielectric resonant antenna(DRA)as a new type of antenna was widely researched in recent years.The dielectric resonator is three-dimensional structure,the design of structure is diverse;and the dielectric resonator has no conductor loss,the radiation efficiency is high,it is very suitable for the millimeter wave band.In addition,the DRA has the advantages of flexible feeding method,easy integration and so on.The study of DRA has significant implications in the field of antennas.Due to the application requirements,the broadband technology of the antenna has been paid much attention in the communication industry in recent years.The dielectric resonant antenna has its flexible broadband technology,and the application prospect of the broadband resonant antenna can not be neglected.In this paper,the broadband dielectric resonant antenna has been studied,the specific work includes:1.In this paper,the broadband widening technology of dielectric resonator is studied and summarized.The broadband technology of dielectric resonator can be divided into the following several aspects: adopt the new structure,optimize the feeding mechanism,use a hybrid antenna,reduce the Q-factor of antenna and plus the antenna parasitic unit.The distribution of the resonator field and the main parameters of the basic antenna are introduced,and the feeding method of the resonant antenna is summarized.2.A resonant antenna with a hybird structure is designed.The antenna is a dielectric resonator with a microstrip patch antenna as a dielectric resonant antenna.The center resonance point of dielectric resonator resonant frequency is near the frequency of microstrip antenna,so as to broadening bandwidth,the antenna with microstrip line feed.After optimized design,the antenna received 88.27% of the relative bandwidth,frequency coverage 1.31-3.38 GHz.The test results show that the antenna peak gain can reach 10.93 dB and the radiation efficiency is up to 89.24%.3.A kind of millimeter-band broadband dielectric resonator antenna is designed,the appropriate antenna size is designed and the material of appropriate relative dielectric constant is selected.The resonant frequency of the antenna is in the millimeter wave band.The dielectric resonator is a semi-circular arch bridge structure,with hollow structure is to introduce an air layer between the dielectric resonator and the dielectric substrate,thereby reducing the Q-factor of the antenna and widening the bandwidth.The designed antenna has excellent bandwidth characteristics,the bandwidth of antenna from 31.2 to 64.4GHz,with 33.2GHz return loss bandwidth,the relative bandwidth of 69.46%,the antenna resonant frequency point at 36.8GHz,the average gain of antenna is about 6dB,the average radiation efficiency is about 76%.4.A dielectric resonant antenna with a special patch is designed,and the dielectric resonator with T shape is chosen as the radiation cavity.The frequency characteristic of the antenna is determined by the structure,size and relative permittivity of the antenna.The patch with inverted ladder type on the surface of dielectict resonator antenna as the feed of antenna,the patch can broadening the bandwidth after verified,The measured results show that the actual operating frequency of the antenna is 3.09-7.68 GHz,with a relative bandwidth of 85.23%,and the antenna gain in the working frequency band is greater than about 4d B,the peak gain of antenna is 10.04 dB,the peak radiation efficiency is 96.5%.
