With the rapid development and updates of hardware and ubiquitous technology,the input and output channels of current mobile devices are diverse and heterogeneous.In order to meet the heterogeneity need of current devices,the user interface have to be developed iteratively for different devices because of the lack of abstract expression for different devices.However,that will lead to extra human efforts and costs.Thus,how to develop the user interface efficiently for multi-devices in multi-devices environment is a problem to be solved urgently for interface developers.In order to solve the problems caused by iterative development,prior researchers have proposed the MBUID(Model-Based User Interface Development)method.MBUID can the different levels of user interface,and generate the final interface through the definition the transformation between models,providing a systematic method for the design and development of the multi-devices interface.The abstract user interface model can provide the possibility to realize the rapid development of "one design and multiple development" at a higher level.So it becomes an effective solution for the development of user interface in multi-devices environment.However,the proposed abstract user interface modeling method have following limitations.Firstly,there has no standard definition of the model in MBUID method.Most of the existing method has complex definitions to modeling and lack of specification.Secondly,current abstract user interface model is hard to provide a unified description for a variety of mobile devices,and it will have reuse limitations in multi-devices user interfaces design.This thesis redesigns a mobile user interface for multi-devices,and proposes an interface framework named SFAU(Separated Functionality And Usability),which separates functionality and usability.Firstly,in the abstraction layer,SFAU proposes the concept"abstract device" through abstracting the characteristics of current multiple mobile devices.Then,SFAU realizes a standard abstract interface modeling method through the standard definition of abstract device.This abstract model also can provides a unified and standard function description for the mobile interface of multi-devices,which optimizes the reuse of interface design.Finally,this paper analyzes the performance through a test case,and the results demonstrates that the interface designer can design a unified mobile user interface description on the abstract device through this method,and then generate the final interface on multiple mobile devices through the transformation.
