With the rapid development and wide application of Internet of Things(IoT)technology,great changes have taken place in people's life,such as intelligent healthcare,intelligent home,intelligent industry and intelligent transport,etc.Internet of Vehicles(IOV)is the Internet of things technology applied in the field of traffic system,is expected to improve the current road traffic conditions and to ensure the driving security,and is an important part of building the smart city.Group communication,as the main communication way of vehicular network communication system,gets the attention of academia and industry.In vehicular network,many factors,including the large-scale of vehicles,the constantly changing location of each vehicle,the dynamic topology of Vehicle ad hoc network,various attacks in wireless channel,and the high packet loss rate,make the security and efficiency of group communication for vehicular network challenged.Group key management is the key of secure group communication and a reasonable communication overhead.Based on vehicular network environment,we take group key management as the research object,and research on privacy-preserving group key management schemes for vehicular network as well as group key distribution schemes with self-healing capability.Our main research work is as follows:First of all,we introduce the technical background about Vehicular ad hoc network and group key management,describe the present situations of group key management and self-healing group key distribution schemes,and analyze the shortcomings of the existing research work.Secondly,as for the problems in the existing group key management schemes,such as the large group key management overheads,the contradictions between the identity privacy protection and the accountability of vehicles,and neglecting how to obtain services between the adjacent Road Side Units(RSU),this paper put forward a service-oriented privacy-preserving group key management scheme,which uses vehicles' pseudonyms to bind their subscriptions and a trusted authority to trace the real identities of vehicles,coordinates the privacy and service billing problem,and designs a group key factor by using the Chinese remainder theorem to make the group key secure and the service group members get the group key with a modular arithmetic operation.It improves the efficiency of group rekeying.In addition,the scheme adopts a centralized group key management framework so that the encryption key of a service group will not vary with vehicles moving across RSUs,which is suitable for vehicular network environment.The reaults of security and efficiency analysis show that the scheme has identity privacy protection,identity traceability,the ability of resisting collusion attack,and has less group key management overhead.Compared with other schemes,it has obvious advantages in the respect of group key management for vehicular network.Then,the problem that group session key distributed over unreliable wireless channel is easy to lose in vehicular network will affect group communication,this paper proposes a lightweight self-healing group key distribution scheme.In the scheme,access control polynomials and group keys are designed to broadcast in the form of index,and message authentication codes are added to the broadcast messages to implement group key secrecy and broadcast authentication.The sliding window mechanism is used to reduce communication overhead.Focused on subgroup and intergroup communications of vehicular network,the self-healing group key distribution of subgroups and secure intergroup communication scheme is proposed to realize the information sharing and information confidentiality between subgroups.The reaults of security analysis show that the scheme achieves the security defined in the security model and the ability of broadcast authentication.The reaults of performance analysis show that the scheme has a constant storage overhead,and is superior to the existing schemes in terms of communication overhead.Finally,we analyze and summarize the key problems that still exist in group key management schemes for vehicular network,and point out the future research direction.
