Development And Research Of Indoor WiFi Positioning Application Based On Android

The APPlication of Indoor positioning is to ensure the location of people and things,and it can make it portable and swift for us to accurately find our destination especially when among some supermarkets,malls and parking lots in our modern lives.This system can be mainly APPlied in some places that are unfamiliar to us like large museums,malls and large parking lots,and the main purpose of this system is to solve problems when entering into those that have complicate environment and that are not easy to find the.right route for us.Whats more,it can be easy to use and spread widely with the lower cost,thus can greatly satisfy the need of the customers.The main components of the system are data collector,terminal of the client,server,and these three parts collaborate together to set up the indoor WiFi positioning system based on Android.The working process of the system as follows:firstly,the data collector will help collect the data comes from the place including the intensity of each AP and their MAC address,then send it to the server.secondlv the server will help set up the fingerprint database,right after the time when the map is saved in the terminal,we can start our positioning.Finally when the client start the APP,it will send its information every second to the server to help update their location.Anyway,the key point of this system lies in the location matching algorithm,and in this system we take the WKNN algorithm for use.After counting we will receive the location showed on the map that changes every second so it can help us ensure the accurate location.
