Research And Development Of Ship Borne VSAT Remote Monitoring System

Recently,with the progress of society and the development of science and technology,people can’t live without network.Low cost research on the application of the technology of the ocean broadband satellite data communication equipment,building a maritime satellite broadband network,it conducive to the comprehensive promotion of the Silk Road Economic Belt along the countries in many areas of cooperation and exchanges,this will become an important guarantee for the development of the maritime Silk Road economy and the construction of the maritime Silk Road in twenty-first Century.Research on the application of low cost marine broadband satellite communication equipment,building a maritime satellite broadband network,it conducive to the practice of Zhoushan "wisdom Zhoushan,wisdom ocean" strategy,it also can improve marine rights and interests protection ability.The advantage of VSAT(Very Small Aperture Terminal)is high rate,strong performance,low tariff and so on,these advantages are gradually valued by the crew,providing stable and satellite based Internet access and public switched telephone network services for ships,such services become one of the main ways of communication between ships and land.On the use of VSAT,the change of the satellite parameters and the control of the running state become the key problems.For ships adrift on the sea,once the terminal software update,real time update data is impossible,antenna installation,maintenance is subject to many restrictions.Ship borne VSAT remote monitoring system can solve the above problems.In this dissertation,the ship borne VSAT system is taken as an object,a remote monitoring system of ship borne VSAT is developed.First of all,the demand analysis of VSAT remote monitoring system is carried out,the whole system,software and hardware design are studied,porting FreeRTOS operating system and LwIP protocol stack,achieving terminal and server functions,the system is tested and run,finally,according to the results of the operation,we sum up the shortage.Ship borne VSAT remote monitoring system for a company commissioned research and development,it is a practical project,the project has great practical value and practical significance.
