With the rapid development of science and technology,microwave wireless communication system plays an important role in military and civilian products.No matter where you are,each of us is using radio technology,and this trend is increasing.At the same time,frequency resources are becoming more and more nervous.In the modern millimeter wave system,the wave separator has a very wide range of applications,in satellite communications,millimeter wave radiometer.Therefore,the design of high performance,compact structure of the wave separator is bound to be the future development trend of wave separator.A microwave device that divides the received signal into a plurality of frequency range signals.The main work of this thesis is to study and design a kind of millimeter wave band non overlapping seven channel wave divider,which consists of seven bandpass filters and one sub divided power divider network of eight components.Rectangular waveguide has the advantages of low loss and high Q value,which is widely used in microwave and millimeter wave circuits and systems,and can be well adapted to the requirements of millimeter wave system.The electromagnetic field simulation software HFSS is used to design the filter which is in accordance with the requirements of the design index,and a eight,and equal division waveguide power divider is designed to complete the design of the seven channel millimeter wave divider.Firstly,the paper introduces the theory of the partial wave filter,and the filter is a band-pass filter.Then,some microwave devices,which are commonly used in microwave and millimeter wave band as power divider,are introduced,including waveguide magic T,waveguide T junction and 3dB branch waveguide coupler.In this design,the output ports of a power divider network with eight equal sections are required to have a certain degree of isolation,which is used to reduce the mutual interference between the various filter channels of the millimeter wave divider.Taking into account the four port network waveguide magic T output port has a good isolation,so the use of multiple waveguide magic T cascade design of a type of a division of eight equal power division network.WDM to compact structure based on the actual processing for consideration,the output port waveguide magic T power divider in the same direction by 90 DEG bending,the power divider network 8 output ports on the same side.Finally,the feasibility of the design method is verified by physical test.The designed band-pass filter and power division network are connected together to form a wave divider.After the test of the vector network analyzer,it is concluded that the design of the divider satisfies the basic requirements.
