Information hiding is an art and science of deceptively embedding secret information into the innocuous carrier data.It requires that the distortion caused by the embedding process is imperceptible.Information hiding is not only an old technology,but also a young discipline.During the ancient Greece and Rome war,Information hiding was widely used in the military to achieve secure communications,but gradually marginalized.Until the Internet technology develops,information hiding is really concerned and widely studied.Encryption technology used to be considered sufficient to protect the security of communications.Encryption technology is only prevent unauthorized people to read the information,but garbled encrypted data revealed the importance of the information itself,more likely to cause an interceptor to monitor and attack.Unlike cryptography,the purpose of information hiding is to hide the fact that the secret information exists,so as not to cause the attention of the interceptor.However,information hiding is not used to replace encryption technology,through the combination of the two can often achieve a more secure protection.Text,images,video,audio,network protocol data units(etc..)are commonly used as carriers of information hiding.Image,video and other multimedia data because of its great redundancy,non-sensitive to changes,related research is rich.Text is limited by the difficulty of embedding,poor robustness and Natural Language Processing technology is not mature,such that research on text information hidden and hidden detection algorithm received less attention.Although the use of text as the carrier of information have many restrictions,but in the open Internet environment,the text is used more widely,and the attacker's attention is not on text,text information hiding algorithm has a wide application prospect.Therefore,it is an urgent problem for researchers to design an algorithm which has better concealment,higher embedding rate and better robustness.We have done the following work in this paper:1)This paper presents a simple detection method by the security analysis of the hidden algorithm based on invisible characters.The proposed method can effectively detect the secret information embedded by the hidden algorithm based on invisible characters.In the latest Unicode standard,we find some new invisible characters which can be used to hide Information.These new found characters could help hiding algorithm to increase the embedding rate and avoid the detection that aiming at current commonly used invisible character.2)A new algorithm of text information hiding based on new invisible character and hash function is proposed.The algorithm makes full use of invisible characters and hash function.The algorithm divides secret information into segments and performs a parity encoding procedure on each segment before embedding.The secret information will be embedded by using segment as unit.The algorithm has good performance in security and embedding rate.3)By using the hash collision phenomenon in hash function,we define the concept of odd and even collisions and the improved algorithm realizes shifting the embedding capacity of a segment with collisions to later segments(rather than wasting the capacity),which enhances the embedding rate and security of the algorithm.
