From Politicization To Socialization:A Study On The New Life Movement Report In <Shen Pao> (1934-1936)

In February 1934,Chiang Kai-shek launched a new life movement in Nan Chang centered on the restoration of traditional Chinese morality.But Chiang Kai-shek,who launched a new life movement for political purposes,never imagined that the movement was more The Chinese people’s social life had a significant impact,thus affecting the process of socialization in China.The new life movement occurred in the Kuomintang civil war,as long as ten years,its climax but concentrated in the war before the short two or three years.However,it is undeniable that the introduction and imitation of Western countries,the concept of social modernization and practice of movement,to accelerate the process of socialization in China.Therefore,the new life movement is a typical blueprint for modern China’s socialization.As an important folk newspaper reflecting the social life of China during the period of the Republic of China,it is impossible for Shen Pao not to pay attention to the new life movement.But the author found that the new life movement began,Shen Pao and Central Daily its report is exactly the same,are from a political point of view.However,with the deepening of the new life movement,Central Daily reported less and less,and even disappeared.The other hand,but Shen Pao began to focus on the social significance of the new life movement.I see this interesting change in the direction of change,and then have questions and reflection:in the new life movement reports,the early and Central Daily step by step Shen Pao why the politicalization of publicity to socialization expression?Central Daily is how concerned about the social significance of the new life movement,and its social expression?The author hopes to sort out the new life movement report of Shen Pao and combine the first report of the "New Life Movement Report of the Republic of China in 1934" to explore and study the above problems.This article mainly explores the change and content of Shen Pao in the report of the new life movement,with a view to exploring how the "Shen Pao" is expressed in the new life movement.Different from the previous studies of the relationship between newspapers and socialization,the author attempts to change the reporting of the newspaper as a breakthrough,through the study of this newspaper in the new life movement of the steering problem,and then how it is the new life movement socialization.By comparing the new life movement reported in Shen Pao and the Central Daily and supplemented by other valuable materials,the author has come to the conclusion that the report of the new life movement has changed.And from the "movement","concept of acceptance","expression" of these three dimensions to outline the Shen Pao in the new life movement report socialized expression.In the first chapter,the writer introduces the new life movement,which is an important movement in the Republic of China.Through the combing of its content and so on,I believe that the new life movement is not only a political movement,but also a modern movement of Chinese modern society.At the same time,I also compare the new life movement report of Shen Pao and the Central Daily,and then come to the conclusion that the report of New Life Movement has changed from politicized propaganda to socialized expression.And attempts to explore the causes of this shift.In the second chapter,from the perspective of "popularization of movement",the author explores the socialized expression of the new life movement.Shen Pao through the promotion and popularization of the significance of the new life movement,the new life movement of knowledge and education and to create a "full participation"atmosphere.Actively and effectively promote the modernization of modern Chinese society movement.In the author’s view,this shift is the "initial level" of social expression.In the third chapter,from the perspective of "concept transmission",the author thinks that "Shen Pao",while reporting and spreading the new life movement,actually transmits western socialization concepts to people,such as female,teenagers and etiquette view.The spread of these advanced concepts,in fact,is a new life movement socialization of an expression.The fourth chapter,I believe that Shen Pao for the community to provide voice channels,published a lot of comments,which actually contributed to a concept of confrontation.The freedom of expression of the concept of social progress,in virtually expanding the freedom of expression of speech space.And this "thinking"level of change is the Shen Pao of the new life movement reported "higher level" of social expression.
