Simulation is a dynamic description of the state of the system in a certain time.The fact of the three dimensional simulation of river flood inundation process is a continuous event simulation.For fighting the flood and providing relief,three dimensional simulation of flood can truly reproduce the inundation process,and can provide effective information such as inundated area,submerged depth,arrival time,etc,so as to provide some help for the decision makers.With the development of computer science and technology,the non engineering measures for disaster prevention and mitigation are becoming more and more informatization.Inspite the research on the simulation of flood inundation process has been more and more popular,but these studies still have some limitations.For instance,there is still a big difference between the existing theoretical model and the actual situation.The dynamic visual expression effect and the interaction of temporal and spatial data in the flood inundation can not be fully expressed.In view of the above problems,on the base of summarizing and analyzing the existing flood inundation simulation research,a three dimensional simulation scheme for flood inundation process has been designed in this paper.Firstly,the cause and mechanism of flood are analyzed,on the basis of studying the characteristics of temporal and spatial data,a special data model is designed.(1)In the research of flood inundation,spatio-temporal characteristics of spatio-temporal data and the change of attribute characteristics summarize the spatio-temporal variation rules.From the point of view of spatial feature dimension,time observation dimension and attribute observation dimension,the change state of inundation process is observed,recorded and described.On this basis the spatial and temporal data model is designed.(2)Based on the simulation model of flood routing,a complete simulation program of flood process is designed.Establishment of water area volume curve based on historical hydrological data in this simulation program.Based on the analysis of flood inundation process,the temporal and spatial variation of flood inundation behavior is simulated.(3)Under the WebGL environment,this paper studies the 3D terrain model,the construction method of the surface features model and the method of the spatial and temporal data processing.And this paper presented a new method which can improve the fluency of flooding simulation by studying the interpolation method based on different key frames.(4)Based on the G/S model,this paper developed in full stack simulation platform for data storage,data access and collaborative geographic information system for integrated collaborative visualization,which based on the progressive loading mechanism of 3D scene and collaborative visualization of multi-source heterogeneous data.The purpose of the system is to adapt to the organization of heterogeneous and non-normalized spatial data,and to meet the practical needs of efficient retrieval [l1].Finally,the system can realize the 3D visualization of large scale scene,and improve the diversity and richness of the visualization of spatial information in the flooding process.
