| Along with the rapid development of satellite communication.The traditional RF front-end is limited by many disadvantages such as the large size and bulky.In order to expand the field of application of satellite communication,this paper developed Ku-band portable satellite terminal key components,and apply them to the satellite terminal system.The main contents are as follows:1.Set the specifications of the components.The paper simply introduces the researching background of satellite communication and the researching status and development trends of satellite RF receive front-end deomestic and abroad.The design parameters of substrate intergrated waveguide filters and the low noise amplifier circuit are proposed according to the design principle of portability and low noise.2.The design of the substrate intergrated waveguide filters,the contradiction between high performance and portability is solved.According to the characteristics and requirements of the substrate intergrated waveguide,simulation and comparison of different output matching circuit is carried out,the matching problem of substrate integrated waveguide filters and peripheral circuit is solved by the design of the transition.The contact of ADS circuit model(coarse model)and the HFSS full wave electromagnetic model(fine model)is established by using the active space mapping algorithm,the contradiction between the simulation accuracy and efficiency of the multi-order substrate intergrated waveguide filter is solved.Based on the above work,the miniaturized substrate intergrated waveguide filters with high performance are developed.3.The design of the low noise amplifier.The catual circuit loss and the discontinuity were fully considered in this paper through repetition the influence in the simulation to ensure the accuracy of the design.A test circuit with two stage low noise amplifier and a substrate integrated waveguide filter which meets the requirements is designed.4.The test of the RF receiver front-end.The test of Ku-band satellite RF front-end and analysis of the test results are given.The test results show that the specifications of the portable satellite radio receiver front-end achieves the expected requirements.Integrated substrate intergrated waveguide filters and low noise amplifier,solved the key technical difficulty of the portable RF front-end,and has important value and significance to achieve the miniaturization of the satellite terminal. |
