Research Of The Remote Monitoring System Of The Vehicle Based On Android

With the rapid development of mobile communication technology,Internet technology and hardware technology,the use of mobile terminal becoming increasingly prevalent and wide.Traditional vehicle remote monitoring system generally consists of vehicle terminal and monitoring center,The user access to vehicle information need to log in to the monitoring center,which is inconvenient.Nowdays,the traditional vehicle monitoring system has been unable to meet the requirements of the user.In this thesis,the vehicle monitoring system which is designed based on the traditional system containes the smart phone part of the application,through the mobile application,the user can view their vehicle status information anytime and anywhere,which provides a great convenience for users to manage their vehicles.This vehicle remote monitoring system is mainly composed of three parts: the vehicle monitoring terminal,the background central server and the Android smart phone application.The technology of satellite positioning,electronic map,mobile network communication and Android application development is used.The vehicle monitoring terminal collects the status information of the vehicle and sends this information to the background central server through the 3G network.The background central server receives the data and persist it.The smart phone application requests to the server for data based on the users’ requirements then presents the results to the user.Firstly,the key technologies of vehicle remote monitoring system are studied.Then the overall design scheme of the system is put forward and the overall architecture of the vehicle monitoring terminal is introduced.Finally,designing and implementing the mobile terminal application software,which is the focus of this thesis.Compared with the traditional vehicle monitoring system,this system uses the mobile application as a support,allowing users to view their vehicle status information at any time and any place in real time,providing a great co nvenience for the user to manage their vehicle,which has potentially prospect.The system has been put into use and have achieved good results.Now,it has a certain number of user and the number continues to grow.The whole system has been in a state of normal and stable running.
