Research On Improvement Strategy Of Interactive In WEB Medical Consultation

The advantages of online medical consultations are convenient and quick.But patients and physicians gained little from these superficial interactions that can easily cause a misunderstanding.So the study of interactivity is very meaningful.Works about the reasearches on these interactions in China have not been carried out.This paper investigated and evaluated the interaction degree about the online medical consultations,analyzed the influences of the replies and the job title of the physicians on the interactions,and finally gave some advice on improving the interactions.In terms of interactive data acquisition,Three indicators were defined,including word counts of questions,word counts of a physician’s reply,patient-physician interaction times.The Alexa top 5 medical websites in China were selected.The crawler was developed and the corresponding web page link acquisition algorithm was designed according to the structure of the site.For each page link,the corresponding data acquisition algorithm and the interactive index acquisition algorithm were designed according to the type of page and the type of consultation.Through the analysis of the interactive index and combined with the existing literature,the paper evaluated the interactive status of online medical consultations.In addition,all the consultation for each physician was recorded and 5,581,987 web pages have been obtained by the end of December 2016.In the extraction of influencing factors,the dictionary-based and rule-based recognition algorithms were designed to identify the name of the drug and the name of the examination in the doctors’ replies.By constructing the feature lexicon of inquiry words and care words,and through the method of sample testing to modify and improve the thesaurus,inquiry words and care words were identified in the doctors’ replies.The results of this paper shows that in the studied medical websites:(1)the average words count that patients asked is 74,the average words count that physicians replied is 107,the average times of patient-physician interactions is 1.19.(2)compared to the average times of interaction,if there were drugs or examinations in the replies of physicians that made interaction times increased by 31%;if physicians’ replies contained any questioning,the interaction times increased by 60%;if physicians’ replies contained caring for patients,the interaction times increased by 43%.(3)As a whole data,the amount of chief physicians that take part in consultations is 8%,and 9% for deputy chief physicians,17% for attending physicians,65% for the physicians with other titles.(4)The average consultation times of attending physicians were 300,whereas those of chief physicians,deputy chief physicians,and other physicians were from 171-198.The medical consultation websites can increase physician-patient interactions with the following methods:(a)encourage the physicians to give a reference to drugs and examinations;(b)encourage physicians to ask patients’ illness in replies;(c)encourage physicians to show caring for patients;(d)attract physicians who have higher professional tiles to take part in consultations;(e)improve the enthusiasm of other physicians to participate in the consultation.
