Reality TV is a vitality program form which has been active on the TV screen for decades.In the traditional media environment,China’s reality TV is facing some obstacles,such as single channel of communication,declining ratings data,limited profit model and so on.However,with the development of science and technology and the innovation of concept,the voice of the new media is becoming louder and louder.Cross screen transmission and multi-channel interaction are becoming the magic weapon of reality TV’s reform.So-called,there’s no making without breaking.In order to get a good transformation in this technology and the concept of reform,traditional reality TV programs should break the original single mode of transmission,use the new media means to enrich the content of the program,increase the interaction between the program and the audience,expand the channels of communication and cooperation media.Dragon TV produced a reality television in 2014,which called"Muse Dress".In two years,it has launched 22 sets of wonderful programs.The program connects the TV,e-commerce,mobile phone APP and other platforms together.Taking the "Muse Dress" as an example,this paper makes a depth analysis in disseminator,audience,the media,content and effect.The program firmly locked the hot points and makes the reality TV full of new media elements.Also,this program creates a reality TV communication model with rich audio-visual resources,multiple communication platform and multi-channel transmission.The first chapter discusses the background and purpose of the research.Also,summarized the domestic and foreign research situation.The second chapter analyzes the communication characteristics of reality TV in China,pointed out the bottleneck of this kind of program in the traditional media environment.The third chapter takes the program "Muse Dress" as an example,interprets this reality TV communication mode in the new media environment.The fourth chapter points out the difficulty of the problem of its transmission mode,and puts forward the countermeasures.The last fifth chapter concludes and reveals a deficiency in this research.
