The Design And Implementation Of College Comprehensive Management System In Academic Affairs Based On SOA

Comprehensive management system in academic affairs is an important part of college daily academic work,which covers a wide range of contents such as course-arranging,curricula-variable,score-management.The system serves students,teachers and managerial staff.Its service period is so long that it covers the entire college life of every student.At present,there are two main types of college management system in academic affairs.One is independent Lan system operating on the Lan of academic affairs administration which is safe but the application range is narrow.The other type is running on campus-type network which features single-function and weak-response.According to the research on the management system in academic affairs of colleges and universities,it is necessary and urgent to construct a stable,fully functional and wide application range management system to improve the efficiency and quality of college academic affairs.To improve the efficiency and quality of academic affairs,a management system is conducted,in which the information system standard construction methods is used under the guidance of theories of software engineering design and education management.The system is designed elaborately to realize the function of comprehensive academic affairs management,to meet the needs of academic affairs on course-arranging,course-choosing,score-managing.the system employs the technologies of SOA,Oracle database and Web to meet the demands of academic affairs,meanwhile,to improve the system performance,to solve the problems caused by multi-point and large data concurrent access and to guarantee the stable running of system.Based on the characteristics of full function and stable performance,the system is designed giving full consideration to the using custom of users such as teachers,students and managerial staff.The system highlights the customizability of the functions and layouts.In safety,the system uses authorization role mechanism to meet the needs of every type of users and to guarantee the controllabity of each function.In performance,the system takes the advantages of Web server and database,and improves the overall system response speed and service quality.
