With the development of industrial field communication bus technology,PROFINET has become the mainstream technology of communication between many industrial devices.The current industrial sites are widely used in sensors,actuators,intelligent instrumentation,etc.,through the embedded microcontroller to provide serial interface to achieve external communication with the external system.Therefore,through the development of a PROFINET gateway,the gateway can be embedded with the Modbus protocol device through RS-485 access PROFINET network,is of great significance.In this paper,according to the industrial field communication needs,through the PROFINET protocol and Modbus protocol and PROFINET gateway technology research and analysis.Using the ERTEC 200 P chip of the Industrial Ethernet special device series provided by Siemens as the main engine,and expanded the high-speed high-capacity SDRAM memory,NOR flash memory and other interface circuit to form the hardware board based on ERTEC 200 P.Run the eCos embedded real-time operating system,the PROFINET protocol stack on the hardware board,and apply the application development on the top of the protocol stack.Design a chip based on the STM32F103VET6 expansion board,in the expansion board running Modbus protocol master program,the development board to provide RS-485 and industrial field devices connected to the application development board in the development.The ERTEC 200P-based hardware board and the STM32F103VET6-based expansion board are connected via 11-way GPIO to form the hardware of the PROFINET gateway.Finally,this paper builds a hardware and software platform to debug the hardware and software of the device that embeds the Modbus protocol and the device that embeds the PROFINET protocol,and tests the performance of the system.Test results: from the Modbus protocol to send data from the station,PROFINET protocol can receive the corresponding data;from the PROFINET protocol to send data,Modbus protocol slave can receive the corresponding data,with diagnostic functions,completed the gateway Functional development,has a certain practical value.
