Design And Application Of FTTH Engineering Based On 10GPON Technology

With the continuous development of communication technology,people’s demand for high-speed broadband becomes more and more.With the advent of 4K,VR and other new technologies,the demand for bandwidth is ever increasing.FTTH technology based on GPON has the characteristics of low operation cost,no interference and strong adaptability;hence it becomes the best choice for operators in the user side of the last mile.However,with the increasingly demand of the high bandwidth operation,IPTV,video,online games,4K TV,networking and other new practice calls for higher bandwidth.As a result,more and more users and families reach hundreds of megabytes access,and the original EPON/GPON technology is unable to meet the demand of higher rate limited by the bandwidth.In order to get higher speed,E/GPON technology is evolving further,and some developed countries even have begun to study the next generation of PON technology.Some domestic operators also have launched pilot projects of 10 GPON technology.This paper mainly focuses on the FTTH technology based on 10 GPON.Firstly,it introduces the background of PON and GPON technology,outlines the GPON technology,and explains the principle of GPON,QOS processing and other key points.Then,it introduces the 10 GPON technology and explained the FTTH system architecture,network principles,the basic requirements and key points of ODN,which are combined to design and plan research for SOHO modern city building.Aiming at the SOHO building,it designs one stage splitting scheme and two stage splitting scheme,and makes the scheme investment budget comparison.Finally,through the analysis of the utilization ratio of the optical port,the difficulty of construction,the investment cost,the construction mode,the maintenance expansion and so on,the final plan is determined.The indicators are tested after the completionof the construction,and the test results meet the expected design requirements.Looking forward to the future,people’s demand for Internet broadband grows rapidly,the network has penetrated into people’s lives and becomes an integral part.Network construction has risen to the national strategic level of public infrastructure.Operators will continue to build broadband services.With the increasing demand for bandwidth,the construction of FTTH based on 10 GPON will continue to develop both in China and abroad.
