The Design And Implementation Of Fire Safety Education System In Colleges And Universities Based On Virtual Reality Technology

In recent years, the fire accidents in colleges and universities have occurred frequently, causing huge loss of property and even casualties. It is of great significance to pay attention to and strengthen the fire safety education in colleges and universities,to maintain the normal order of the campus and ensure the safety and healthy development of college students. Every student must understand, learn and grasp the necessary fire safety knowledge and skills,on the one hand to prevent the occurrence of fire, on the other hand in the case of fire can be handled correctly. However, the traditional fire safety education has certain limitations, the textbook teaching and multimedia case teaching mode of the operation are not strong, and the fire safety drill is subject to funding costs and other factors, the effect is not satisfactory. The emergence of virtual reality (Virtual, VR) technology, which provides a new model for fire safety education, so that students can learn and practice in the virtual environment of fire safety education At present, the relevant researches at home and abroad still focus on the research and application of fire treatment plan and evacuation plan, the development of the relevant VR system operation mode is relatively simple, is not strong enough to play a role in the real fire safety education.In view of the existing problems and deficiencies in the application of VR technology in the field of fire safety education in Colleges and Universities, based on the theory of fire safety education, guided by the teaching theory of fire safety education, this paper combines VR technology with fire safety education in colleges and universities to study the design and implementation of fire safety education in colleges and universities based on VR technology, and establishes the fire safety education system in universities based on VR technology.Firstly, combining with VR technology and its application in education, this paper analyzes the relevant theoretical model of fire safety education in colleges and universities based on VR technology. Then, summed up the system design principles,design ideas, for teaching, interactivity, authenticity, fun, scientific and other elements of the system design, forming a system framework design model and carding the development process. And then, we carry out the system scene modeling based on 3Dmax, construct the virtual reality function module based on Unity Engine, realize the teaching scene simulation, user interaction training, and data management, control function, and complete the fire safety education system of colleges and universities based on VR technology. Finally, the experiment on VR helmet equipment based on HTC VIVE hardware platform, through function evaluation and application effect analysis, proves that the system can effectively improve the teaching effect of fire safety education.The research work of this paper has the following two characteristics:(1) Integrating modern educational teaching theory into the design and development of fire safety education system based on VR technology;(2) With the principle of unconscious and natural human-computer interaction, so that students on the scene, to achieve the interaction between man and the virtual scene,walking positioning, as well as the operation of fire extinguishers, and the way is novel and interactive, which enriches the teaching form of fire safety education in colleges and universities,The fire safety education system in colleges and universities established in the paper can help college students to raise fire safety awareness, learn fire safety knowledge, and master fire safety skills, which is of great significance to fire safety education in colleges and universities; The design and implementation of the fire safety education system based on VR technology in colleges and universities is of great significance to development of the related teaching products by using modern educational theory and VR technology and finally introduce school education.
