The main function of Internet has changed from end-to-end messages transmission to large-volume content distribution.This dominant change has become a common research spot on how to enable efficient and economical Internet content distribution for car users in industrial and academic circles.Therefore,it is the research priorities of this thesis.Named Data Networking(NDN)belongs to future Internet architectures.It has solved many drawbacks exposed by traditional Internet Protocol(IP)centered Internet architecture in scalability,mobility,security and other aspects.NDN not only matches Internet content distribution function well,but also is more applicable for high-dynamic Vehicular Ad Hoc Network(VANET).This thesis intends to realize a mechanism where VANET distributes content with V2V communications while LTE supplies content sources,to help car users obtain their required large-size content at faster speed and lower price.For this purpose,the thesis includes the following two aspects:In this thesis,NDN basic protocol is modified according to VANET characteristics.On this basis,an Efficient Inter-vehicle Internet Content Distribution Scheme based on Named Data Networking(EIVNDN)was proposed.EIVNDN possesses novel functions including multisource supply,intelligent response,breakpoint resume and adaptive switching.Simulation results from a network simulator named NS-3 shows that the distribution efficiency of EIVNDN is significantly higher than that of current available distribution schemes whose complexity is comparable to the complexity of EIVNDN.To ensure adequate Internet content sources for VANET,this thesis proposed a Download and Share Incentive Strategy Based on Game Theory(DSGAME).DSGAME using rewarding and punishment measures based reputation can incentive stakeholders to duly connect to LTE to download appropriate Internet content,and then to share content via V2V channel.Theoretic analysis and simulation experiments validates that DSGAME advances mutually beneficial ties among vehicles to guarantee the smooth implementation of EIVNDN with less cost.In conclusion,the Internet content distribution mechanism based on named data in heterogeneous network can meet high cost-efficient require-ment of vehicle Internet access applications.
