With the rapid increase of smart mobile terminals and the development of Internet application technology, the explosion of mobile Internet traffic is accelerating the evolution of mobile network architectures toward flat architectures to alleviate the pressure of the core network. The mobility management mechanism is also in a conventional deployment at the same time. The data traffic in the user plane and control plane had to be forward with a length path in current end-to-end communication network, which cannot satisfy the service requirement of users in the end-to-end IP communication scene.The paper introduces the research status of the end-to-end mobility management firstly which provides a theoretical basis for the optimization scheme research of end-to-end mobility management method. Then it introduces the architecture and key technologies of the mobility management currently. Afterward we put forward a kind of end-to-end mobility management method (EDMIP) to solve the lengthy path in the process of the mobile switching. The EDMIP extended define the Control Mobility Anchor and Data Mobility Anchor Gateway function entity. The control mobility anchor, deployed by a centralized method in the core network, dynamically updates and maintenances the mapping information of the mobile node and make a decision for distributed data forwarding path between the distributed mobility anchors. The method distributed the data forward management function on the edge of the network to separate the data anchor function of core network to keep the continuity of the session, and to effectively reduce the lengthy path. And support the low latency demand of the end-to-end network in future. At the same time, in order to ensure the implementation of location information registration and update, this paper extension defines Registration Binding Update/Acknowledgement and Distributed Binding Update/ Acknowledgement singling and a set of detailed mobility signaling management process, in order to realize the mobility management functions of the distributed deployment. Then, the paper designed a mobility management analysis model to verify the performance of the proposed scheme in this paper. The paper test and verify the handover delay, packet loss, signaling cost and packet delivery cost of the proposed method by establishing the unified mathematical analysis model. Finally, we program to ;implement the EDMIP scheme in the SDN/Open flow platform and program the function entity to verify the solution analysis.
