| The amount of user demand data increased exponentially with the rapid development of the Internet.Faced with explosive growth of demand for data center optical networks,data center optical network experienced photoelectric hybrid networking,WDM network and flexible optical networks.With the growing scale of its application,data center has been able to provide a high-speed transmission of data,high-bandwidth and high-capacity solution.For traditional operators,they are more focused on network connectivity.For data center optical networks,service quality and user experience is more important,therefore,service providers and users are more focused on whether the content of resources can be quickly and efficiently delivered to the user.Therefore,the content of connect-connectivity has become a new way to measure network performance.On the other hand,as the transmission capacity on the rise,natural disasters and other damage caused to network can’t be ignored.Once affected fiber can’t work properly,it will cause incalculable damage throughout the network business,protection scheme against catastrophic failure is an essential part of the network survivability research.Therefore,the research of protection scheme based on content-connectivity in data center optical network has been the important part of network survivability research.This paper focuses on the survivability of data center optical networks,describes the characteristics and the inevitability of data center optical networks based on content-connectivity.And based on this,this paper propose the service-aware protection scheme and bandwidth-aware protection scheme based on the content-connectivity.By establishing a network model for process simulation experiments to verify the two protection schemes can against network failures even disasters.The main work and innovations of this paper includes:1)Research on protection method in data center optical networks based on content-connectivity,analyze the influence caused by different failure and several protection scheme against different fault types in the network.2)For the problem of the protection scheme for data center optical networks based on content-connectivity,we propose service-aware protection.By dividing services into different level according to the importance,and adjusting the protection path bandwidth modulation format,the proposed scheme can compress the protection bandwidth to reduce blocking probability of the network.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can reduce about 40%than traditional protection on blocking probability,and increase the bandwidth resource utilization around 10%.3)To reduce the spectrum consumption against disaster failure,we propose the bandwidth-aware protection scheme to comprehensively optimize the path routing and spectrum assignment in optical data center networks.Results shows that proposed scheme can not only deal with disaster but also consume fewer spectrum resources than traditional method without bandwidth adaptability. |
