| With the advent of the mobile Internet era,all kinds of smart wireless devices and services emerging,mobile data traffic showing explosive growth,cellular mobile communication network has been unable to meet user demand for high quality services.At present,WiFi-based data offloading scheme and multi-path transmission technology are committed to ease traffic pressure and improve network utilization,but meet with bad user experience,out of order packets,high packet loss and other challenges.Multipath TCP protocol(Multi-path TCP,MPTCP)support multiple paths transmite simultaneously,can improve offloading performance,and optimize network utilization,can ease the mobile data traffic explosion.In this paper,first we introduce the research background and main content of this paper;give an overview of heterogeneous networks and key technology and development status of data offloding.After summarizing the relevant technical background of multi-path transmission control protocol,multipath TCP typical scheduling schemes are introduced and analyzed in detail.Then we use RMAB to model the multipath TCP scheduling problem and propose the RMAB based offloading algorithm for MPTCP.Finally,we build the simulation systems and simulated the algorithm.We verified that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the offloading performance and overall goodput,also have good performance on delay and jitter. |
