With the widely application of LTE-A,terminals that support LTE-A begin pouring into the market.Terminal RRM conformance testing is needed to ensure that the terminal can completely conform to the protocol consistency.LTE-A terminal RRM conformance testing is realized according to LTE-A air interface protocol stack.3 GPP protocol gives details about how to implement test cases.The realization of different test cases in the physical layer and data link layer is basically the same.Therefore,on the basis of the underlying technology,the main part of developing test cases is the network layer.In the process of development,developers need to design and code each test case independently.Due to the numerous number of test cases,this will bring huge workload and make the whole thing complicated.To solve this problem,this paper provides a testing framework,which is suitable for LTE-A terminal RRM conformance testing.In the process of design and implementation of the framework,this paper carried on an overall analysis on the test case flow in protocol agreement.On this basis,it put forward a network layer testing framework for RRM conformance testing,which was based on the simulator platform of multimode system.This framework divided the developing process of test cases into six modules,and the five modules among them were implemented in detail.Besides,in order to meet the current developing requirements of CA and eICIC related test cases,this paper also designed and realized CA and eICIC related functions within the framework.Developing test cases with this testing framework,developers only need to design test steps related to test points,which greatly improves working efficiency.In the verificationphase,after analyzing test cases,appling the framework,configurating suitable parameters and designingtest steps,this paper implemented two test cases that respectively related to CA and eICIC to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the framework,by checking the running results of these tset cases.
