Design And Implementation Of Road Traffic Accident Forecast System Based On GIS

With the rapid development of Chinese economic level,the urban transportation system continues to expand,and the automobile amount is increasing.So the traditional road traffic management mode is facing with severe test.Public travel difficulties and traffic congestion are more serious.The traffic system in core area is still maintaining as the design standards in the last century.Also most cities are more or less facing with traffic problems.Therefore the development of a road traffic accident prediction system is very necessary,which is the basis of the regulation of road management and reasonable,scientific and practical solutions to reduce traffic accidents.This paper mainly studies the design and implementation of the road traffic accident forecast system based on GIS,of which the main research content is the use of GIS system for traffic accident prediction.The system analyzes the traffic accident data,traffic accident occurrence general rule with the comprehensive use of mathematical,statistics,computer science and other methods.This system is mainly divided into four parts:the collection and receiving of accident data,accident analysis,accident data query,safety assessment and forecast.The data acquisition and reception function is to establish the traffic situation database in the data acquisition stage,and then to analyze the traffic accident data into database,which is based on the analysis of traffic accident data,black spot analysis and time analysis.The data query interface can be used to evaluate the safety level of road traffic.In addition to system requirements analysis,system design and system implementation,in the end of this paper,system testing of the information input and information query system had been implemented in order to prove that the system has met the design requirements and to ensure the quality of the system.In this paper,the system achieves the combination of GIS technology and road traffic management in the field of application of GIS technology to the road traffic accident prediction.It plays a very important role in mastering traffic accidents in the future,taking timely measures and nipping in the bud.
