Design And Implementation Of High-speed Gateway Based On IP Over CCSDS

With the continuous development of manned spaceflight engineering and deep space exploration project,space data transmission and space station construction and other space activities continue to increase.The traditional communication model can not meet the higher demand,the integration of space network and earth network has become a new research hotspot.In order to meet the requirements of integration of heaven and earth,to support the transmission specificationsin of IP protocol communication protocol in the space,Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS)has been modified space link communication protocol several times.This paper designs a high-speed gateway based on IP over CCSDS on the basis of the design and implementation of "IP over CCSDS high-speed protocol conversion gateway" in the laboratory research project.Firstly,it analyzes the background and development status of the research,deeply studies the IP over CCSDS adaptation protocol and its data processing flow,and studies the basic knowledge of the high-speed gateway.Secondly,the design and implementation of the high-speed gateway based on IP over CCSDS are introduced,and the design and implementation of each module of high-speed gateway are introduced in detail.The 10 G high-speed Ethernet interface circuit,10 G Rocket IO interface circuit,cache technology and high-speed WAN interface circuit are the focus of research,the language of each module is Verilog HDL,and Modelsim simulation software are used to complete the key module simulation verification.Finally,the debugging method of high-speed interface circuit is put forward,and the overall test platform of high-speed gateway is set up.The high-speed look-up table and MAC address self-learning module are tested.At the same time,the performance of the high-speed gateway are verified through the high-speed gateway throughput test,the results show that the functions and performance of the high-speed gateway meet the design requirements and the result is up to the expected goal.
