| In the fields of traditional soldier training,Wi Fi and wired network are often used as communication methods to transmit military instructions and collect various training data.These methods are mature technology.We can use them to reduce the difficulty of development.But the devices’ power consumption is very high.What’s more,Wi Fi does not support long-distance communication.The cost of wired network’s deployment is quite high.Usually training field is large and devices are movable.According to the above characteristics,a wireless communication system based on LoRa technology with high reliability and practicality is designed.The system uses LoRa technology based on the SX1278 chip.LoRa technology has the characteristics of long-distance transmission and low power consumption.It can solve the problem that the ordinary wireless communication technology unable to penetrate walls in training ground.By using low power technology and sleep wake up mode in SX1278 chip,the problem of short standby time caused by battery powered equipment can be solved.According to the system requirements,the system’s physical platform can be divided into three devices,such as sensor devices,routing devices and gateway devices.Sensor devices are used to monitor the real data in the training ground and transmit data.LoRa transmits signal via routing devices.The main function of gateway device is to receive the instruction from command center,send the instruction to target device,manage devices,collect data and upload.Based on the real requirement for application and physical platform,a suitable LoRa protocol is designed to ensure the correct communication between devices.The protocol contents include the communication format in LoRa network,and the selections of the system’s communication mode.What’s more,the design of reliable transmission mechanism,can guarantee the reaching of instructions.The network packets’ processing mechanism,including the communication content,format and mode for network packets in LoRa network,is also designed for the data interaction between LoRa network and IP network.In order to measure the system performance,a large number of tests have been carried out through various environments.Continually analyzing test result and optimizing problems,the system runs in good condition.The expected design purposes can be achieved.The result indicates that LoRa technology is suitable for wireless sensor network.It is a trend in the development of wireless communication.This system has practical significance to the following research and development. |
