With the tremendous development of science and technology,a growing number of products offering automation,network and informatization are approaching people’s everyday life.In recent years,more attention has been paid to intelligent household electrical appliances,while most household electric appliance in the market are independently working and facing difficulty with automatic control and centralized management.So the problem to putting together every household electric appliance into an intelligent house network to realize the centralized management and control of home environment has been a new issue in the field of intelligent home appliance.To solve this problem,a wireless multi-protocol control system for smart home is designed in this paper.The control system is highly customized and very suitable for smart home applications.The controller uses a Cortex-M3 embedded processor with high performance and reliability and multiple communication interface and a versatile USB interface Bluetooth module as the core components.Assisted with other additional circuitry,such as the sensors,relays and etc.to realize environmental monitoring and automatic control,the system uses the widely used Bluetooth SPP serial protocol to exchange data with the user terminal,which enables cross-platform compatibility among various user terminals.This article introduces the component selection of the multi-protocol controller,circuit design,the theory and realization of USB Bluetooth drive programme,and the debugging process of peripheral such as sensor and actuator.And then it shows the self-developed android user terminal as well as the interface design of the phone terminal and the communication flow of Bluetooth SPP.Lastly,it makes a prototype of multi-protocol controller and gives the test results of various functions.The test results show that the user terminal application on Android smart-phone is able to connect to the smart home controller via Bluetooth,view the real-time information about the indoor temperature and humidity,and switch on or off the lights,curtains and other appliances remotely within the range of about 15 meters away from the multi-protocol controller,which realizes the centralized management and control of intelligent home environment.The system has the advantages of friendly interface and easy to operate,and realizes the intellectual control of home environment,greatly improving the user experience of intelligent home system.
