In recent years,wireless network won the users’ favorite for its convenience in the field of access network.With the development of technology,more and more people feel the wireless network is a more convenient access because the transmission speed of wireless network becomes faster and faster.WLAN has become the most rapidly growing wireless access mode for its convenient layout and unrestrained access way.Various subnets of WLAN in terms of bandwidth,latency,security level,the QoS support ability are different.Thus,select which network to access for the certain service will affect the user experience,tariffs and other aspects of service QoS when a service initiated.In a network environment that plurality of wireless networks overlapping covered,a reasonable access selection algorithm is neccessary which users access to the appropriate wireless network depending on the demands of business.How to ensure a favorable QoS in an existing network resources has become the primary task of the network.Access network selection algorithm is one of the main research directions of the wireless network.The access selection algorithm could be divided into algorithm based on load balancing,based on signal strength,based on the utility function,based on policy-driven,based on type of service and the core idea of these algorithms for the next study provide ideological origin and rationale.Another major research direction lies QoS traffic classification.3GPP,ITU-T and many other international organizations regard that redefine the new classification system as open-ended questions.And the reason is the existing classification criteria will no longer suitable for future network with the continuous development of information technology.QoS standardization organization such as 3GPP and ITU-T,as well as the next generation network leader LTE-A,related technology are considered in this paper,a new business QoS classification,security class,was be proposed.And all classifications of business have its own specific recommendations for parameter values.On this basis,access selection algorithm based on QoS which combining economics used to the utility function has been proposed in this paper.So select the network with the best QoS comprehensive benchmarks to meet business needs of all aspects of the network and ensure network quality of service request.What’s more,a recommendation algorithm as a combination of the selection algorithm was proposed for saving resources and improving efficiency.
