The micro Doppler effect generated by micro-motion of moving target reflect its fine moving feature,which has important military and civil value.It has been attracted extensive attention in the fields of detection and recognition of target.Coherent laser detection is particularly fit for detection of micro-motion of the targets because of its high detective accuracy,high anti-jamming capability and ability of long distance detection.This paper introduced the research background of micro-motion and the research status of coherent laser detection of domestic and overseas for micro-motion of the target firstly.Secondly,the paper established two micro Doppler models of vibration and rotation on the base of typical micro motion model and characteristics of coherent laser detection.The detection system of coherent laser was established based on virtual instrument.Simulation and experiments were carried out to analyze the influence factors of detection effects with the change of typical parameters.At the end of the paper,time-frequency analysis methods were preceded in the results of simulation and experiments,which could realized the estimation and derivation of the features of the targets’ micro motion.The research established well basis for detection,classification and recognition of the targets.
