| The rapid development of new media,has contributed to a dramatic change in the field of political communication.It’s become a new trend to use social media platform in political communication.As one of the main body about political communication,government head,using social media into the communication activities,has become more and more common.With the popularity of microblog in China,it has attracted foreign government heads’ attention.At present,there are six foreign government heads who use Sina Weibo to share information to Chinese people.Besides,in recent years,research on new media and political communication has become a hot research topic of academic.While there are not a lot of research about foreign government heads’ communication activities to China.Based on the current social reality and the status of academic,this article will focus on foreign government heads in Weibo communication situation analysis,to reveal foreign heads of government’s Weibo content,characteristics and strategies.In the concrete research process,this paper is in accordance with the Weibo analysis model divided on three levels proposed by Zhong xin,Huang chao,etc.It’s about the individual dimension,the discourse relations dimension and interactive dimension.Through these content and text analysis,here are some findings.The chapters are arranged as following:The first chapter is the introduction part.It illustrates the reason why do this research.By combing the domestic and foreign related literature,it demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of research.It also puts forward the theory basis of the study,and the questions need to solve.Besides,it shows the research methods and the selection of samples.The second chapter shows the foreign government heads’ Weibo in China from the dimension of individual.Including foreign heads of government’s Weibo account,opening time and opportunity,focus number,fans number,the update frequency and time trend,operation and management mode,etc.The third chapter,from the dimension of discourse relations using content and text analysis methods,analyses the foreign government heads’ Weibo content,such as issues surrounding distribution,emotional attitude tendency,structure form,the high frequency words and the semantic web,etc.The fourth chapter analyses the communication of foreign government heads’ Weibo in China from the dimension of interaction.It mainly includes the overall description of the degree of interaction,popular microblog cases analyses,the problems of interaction analyses.The fifth chapter summarizes and induces the foreign government heads’ communication characteristics,strategies,and significances. |
