It is very important for satellite’s communication channel resource utilization and QoS of several kinds of services to design a multiple access protocol for Satellite Network.Only designing a reasonable protocol,it can efficiently occupy channel resources and meet the QoS of kinds of services. In addition, due to the satellite network is always applied to the field of military and commercial,so it is important to complete the authentication for users before they access to the network. This thesis summarizes the existing multiple access protocol, authentication scheme of satellite network and its characteristics. The thesis also analyzes the problems caused by such protocols in satellite network. The thesis proposes multiple access protocol for satellite network based gray forecast. In terms of access, the gray forecasting method is added to make appointment time slots more than the existing packages. In terms of bandwidth allocation, the user priority is added to make some users have a higher priority in allocation of resources.Through the OPNET simulation modeling,it shows that the proposed protocol performance good throughput and end-to-end delay, and thus improve the channel utilization rate of the satellite system. On the other hand, this thesis proposes a anonymous authentication method based on gateway for satellite network, which use MD5 algorithm to generate message authentication code and achieve two-way authentication between satellite network and users. It transfers certification to the gateway from the network control center(NCC),and greatly reduces the NCC’s calculation. The method is compared with the existing satellite network authentication methods and simulated by network programming. The simulation results show that this method is feasible.
