Edge detection as a common method of digital image processing,is the basis of many image processing technology.The edge of the image contains a large number of image feature information,can be used for feature description,image enhancement,image segmentation,pattern recognition and other image analysis and processing.Therefore,the image edge detection algorithm has always been a hotspot in image processing and computer vision,and it is expected to find a satisfactory algorithm for detecting accuracy and anti-noise ability.Facial paralysis is a kind of facial nerve motor function damage disease,it gives people the physical and mental have brought great harm.But now the medical diagnosis of facial paralysis mostly based on subjective judgments,there is no uniform evaluation criteria.The use of edge detection algorithm to establish facial paralysis identification system to accurately determine the degree of facial paralysis,which is important for early detection of suspected cases,guiding clinical medication,assessing the effectiveness of treatment and academic field of communication.In this paper,edge detection algorithm is used to deal with facial paralysis images,and it is expected to establish a more standard facial paralysis recognition system to realize the recognition and classification of facial paralysis images.This paper mainly completed the improvement of edge detection and the establishment of facial paralysis identification system in two aspects of the work.In this paper,some traditional edge detection algorithms are analyzed and researched,and three new edge detection methods are introduced.Based on the induction of these methods,an improved edge detection algorithm is proposed.The Sobel algorithm is improved by increasing the direction of the template,and the threshold selection process of the Canny algorithm is improved by genetic algorithm.Then the wavelet transform method is used to fuse the two improved algorithms.Combining the advantages of the two algorithms,an improved edge detection algorithm is obtained.According to the position information of the facial paralysis image feature,a face acquisition system is designed to obtain the face image with the area block.In the establishment of facial paralysis identification system,the use of improved edge detection algorithm for facial paralysis image processing to extract the image edge feature information.According to the difference of facial asymmetry in facial paralysis,the difference between the characteristic information matrices is calculated,and a method of facial paralysis based on symmetry axis is proposed.And then combined with the distance based facial paralysis score method to complete the final classification of the image,the establishment of facial paralysis identification system to achieve the face of paralysis image recognition and classification.
