| Chinese cultural symbols,created by the Chinese Nation,tooted in Chinese culture,recognized by Chinese people,are graphs signs or marks which are able to present the look,the feature and the value of China.As the symbol of expression system,Chinese cultural symbols located in the most prominent "explicit level" of Chinese culture soft power.In today’s world,the communication exchange and clash of various culture happens more and more frequently.Chinese cultural symbols have unique attraction and cohesion.The symbol of Chinese culture is not only an important way to interpret the image of China and the Chinese concept in the era of globalization,but also an important content of national soft power.Effective excavation and presentation of Chinese cultural symbols is remarkable for shaping a good image of China,and enhancing the effectiveness of international communication,meanwhile,it provide a specific path to enhance the cultural soft power.This study,using the content analysis,examines the four Chinese cultural symbols on the front page and cover of four foreign newspapers in detail.In this paper,the distribution of Chinese cultural symbols,the selection of foreign newspapers and periodicals on era and region of the Chinese culture,and high frequency of Chinese cultural symbols are studied.This paper analyzes the present situation and characteristics of Chinese cultural symbols through statistical data,and discusses their causes and possibilities,with a view to expanding the scope and research angle of Chinese cultural symbols and exploring useful experiences for the spread of Chinese cultural symbols.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research origin and sorts out studies on Chinese cultural symbols.The second part is the first chapter,that is research design.First,combing the relevant concepts to clarify the concept and types of Chinese cultural symbols,illuminating the basis and results of sample selection,and putting forward the main research problems and implementation programs.The third part is the main part of this paper,namely thesecond,the third and the fourth chapters.It mainly analyzes the use and characteristics of Chinese cultural symbols,including the distribution of Chinese cultural symbols,the contemporary Chinese cultural symbols,regional selection,high frequency Chinese cultural symbols,and so on.And it explores the causes and effects of Chinese cultural symbols briefly as well.The fourth part is the conclusion part of this article.It summarizes the research content and research conclusion of the full text,and puts forward the strategy of international communication of Chinese cultural symbols. |
