| With the development of Internet,new applications are emerging in an endless stream,and traditional applications are constantly changing.Along with the development of technologies such as HTML,CSS,and JavaScript,Web pages evolve from simple text originally provided by a server to hypertexts that contain some pictures to different types of content now provided by servers of several different admin domains.Over the past decade,Internet applications develop rapidly,and great changes have taken place in application traffic characteristics of ordinary hosts and servers.Moreover,due to the increase of users and the diversity of data packets in the network,network congestion becomes increasingly evident.Analyzing Web application traffic characteristics is meaningful to understanding today's network applications,traffic classification,application optimization,security control and so on.Based on analyzing HTTP messages,this paper first studies the current composition of Web traffic,and then analyzes types of Web servers and measures Web server response time to discuss the development of Web servers.Meanwhile,it analyses CDN's impact on network congestion.In this paper,specific research work are as follows:(1)Based on the HTTP protocol,this paper analyses the packets in the Internet,then identifies the types of traffic,next classifies the traffic.In the end,according to the current environment,it analyses the traffic characteristics of the Internet.(2)This paper first analyses the current mainstream server in the Internet,and bases on server response time and other indicators to evaluate the current known server performance.At last,it integrates a variety of performance indicators to compare the mainstream of the server.(3)According to the server cluster and content distribution network,the CDN system is built and the corresponding measurement on the Web server is made.Then the paper compares the CDN system with the traditional Web system to further understand CDN's impact on the Web system. |
