The Design And Implementation Of Online Thesis Review Based On ASP.NET

The evaluation of graduate degree thesis is an important part of management process of graduate education,it is also the guarantee for the quality of thesis and the quality of graduate education.At present,the number of graduate students graduating in most universities in mainland of China is generally more than 1000 people.And the review of degree thesis mainly is used to print out paper documents, then is sent to outside reviewers in other cities by mail,or delivers to outside local reviewers by someone personally.Each graduate’s paper needs to be sent to 2 or more reviewers.This process is sluggish,the consumption of paper is prodigal, and the results of the review are hard to be collected,managed or compared with each other.In this paper,we did some research on the evaluation process of graduate thesis in universities,and designed and developed a Web system suitable for universities to conduct online graduate degree thesis evaluation.This thesis employs an object-oriented analysis and design method,starts from the overall design goal,analyzes the whole process of external evaluation for graduate degree thesis in universities,describes in detail the functional requirements of the system,defines the objectives of the system and the functions that need to be completed,and draws out the flow information diagram,and carries out the analysis of the logic model and the analysis of the database.At the same time,the business functions of different stages of the external evaluation are modeled.According to the functional requirements of the system,the Web application system is designed in detail.After a thorough analysis of the user’s system requirement analysis,the Web based B/S architecture and four-layers architecture are adopted to design and develop the system.Through the design of database and classes,combining various related technologies to achieve the design and development of the system,at the same time,it shows the design mode of the four-tiers architecture well.This thesis describes in detail the implementation of four-levels of architecture and the collaboration process between them,and uses the four-tiers architecture to separate the codes between Model and View.In the design process of database,we use the technology of Code First of Entity Framework,that is,firstly we build the entities structures in the program,and then map them to the database.This thesis also gives a brief introduction to the key technologies used in the design and development of the Web system.This thesis stands on the starting point of practicality,adopts ASP.NET software development platform and tools,SQL Server 2008 database system,the set of mature and stable technologies collocation.The design and development of each module of the system is based on the user’s functional requirements.After the complete Web application system is developed and completed,the Web system has been deployed in a server.The author has carried out the various software testing for the system.The test results show that the online thesis evaluation system has basically achieved the expected goal of the design plan.The basic starting point for the design and development of the system is rational layout and consideration of development and maintenance costs,this work might be valuable for information construction in teaching and teaching management in universities.
