The Design And Implementation Of Hotel Unified Management Platform Based On Workflow Technology

With the improvement of people’s living standard,people’s consumption concept has undergone great changes,and the tourism consumption has developed,too.the hotel industry is also taking advantage of the vigorous development.The hotel management system plays an increasingly important role in daily management of the hotel.However,the most of traditional hotel management system is composed of relatively independent system,the system between the storage and use of data are isolated in the physical,the system data between is difficult to interaction and sharing;Such as Aopu computer companies have developed many products:catering service management system,the cashier management system,entertainment consumption management system,inventory management system,customer relationship management system,general manager general inquiry system,etc.And the most of traditional hotel management system is a kind of external management system,It is strengthen the relationship between hotel and customers,the management of hotel staff and hotel business is relatively weak.For example,the food and beverage department of the hotel needs to purchase a batch of ingredients.This business needs to be completed by the food and beverage department,the purchasing department and the finance department,food and beverage to fill in application form,then the purchasing department for examination and approval,after approved by the finance department for examination and approval again,through the later by the finance department to purchasing personnel to procurement,in the end,by the food and beverage for supplies.However,it will waste a lot of time,but also difficult to collaboration between government departments,the business process is difficult to monitor.therefore,We use the workflow of flexible business restructuring and monitoring capabilities,the full effective integration of various types of information resources,so that business can be part or fully automated,the participation of the business departments need to complete the task of the department,after completion will automatically move to the next department processing,not only can very good reduce waste to time,and still can effectively reduce the hands-on transactions,and management more scientific.This system is a development project from my internship company,in order to promote the development of hotel industry of guilin’s tourism as the application background,research the application demand of the guilin hotel,on the basis of using workflow management methods,to design a unified management platform.Platform of the system can run independently,and can run together and make each department of the sharing of resources,improve the work efficiency,and multiple departments,multiple roles involved in the process by means of workflow of the whole business streamline,programmed and standardization.At the same time use the SWITCH interface to get the useful data of the subsystems of the original agreement,realize data sharing platform,it can acquire useful data for each database,and also can provide uniform data model and data access protocol interfaces for the unified management of the hotel.Process modeling is the first problem of workflow management system to solve,and with the reference of Workflow Management Coalition XPDL definition format this paper has carried out a detailed design on the definition of workflow files through attribution expanding.Workflow engine is a key component in controlling process execution.Hotel management platform is also only integrated with the engine and then can carry out the needed operations such as the specific process definition,process approval and so on.Therefore,CCFlow workflow engine as the core to carry on the secondary development,fulfill the basic functions of process controlling,activities transferring,task distributing,and user-restricting management in workflow management system.The system has been widely used and well received by users.It can complete the daily operation of the hotel and strengthen the cooperation ability of all departments.It is not only fully functional and expansible,but also easy to operate and easy to use.Practice shows that the application of workflow technology,which can optimize the traditional process of hotel management,reduce the workload of hotel staff,improve the efficiency of the hotel management,greatly promote the core competitiveness of the hotel.
