Research On Using Blank Area In WIMP Interface To Improve The Use Of Multiple Programs

In the past few decades,the most widely used interactive way in the field of human-computer interaction is WIMP,both Windows X and Mac OS are using WIMP interactive mode.In the next ten years,WIMP interactive mode will continue to use,and then instead by Post-WIMP,Non-WIMP or other interactive mode.When people use the WIMP interactive mode computer,often needs to use two or more process,office software because of the association between the use of the probability of more common than the general software.In this paper,analysis of both 2 treatment methods in this case(windows churn and resize the window)and the blank area on the WIMP interactive interface.In this paper,presents a new treatment method use the blank area to display a part of information in another program window when there is enough blank areas in the interactive interface,and through the program automatically completed window adjustment method in office software.In order to effectively use the blank area in the WIMP interactive interface.In this paper,by using Image processing technologysuccessfully get the maximum rectangular blank area in interactive interface.Based on the interface of gray image processing,edge detection,block of processing steps will get maximum rectangle blank rectangle interface is simplified to get maximum 1 matrix in 0-1 matrix,finally using histogram for the largest rectangle method for maximum rectangular blank area obtained by.By this method,we can get the others larger blank areas in the interactive interface.It provides the technical support for the new processing method presented in this paper,and provide an effective way for other usage of the blank area of interactive interface.This paper uses image processing technology to achieve the extraction method of interface maximum rectangular blank area,based on the interface of gray image processing,edge detection,block and other operations,will obtain the maximum rectangular blank rectangle interface is simplified into 1 0-1 for the rectangular matrix,finally using histogram maximum rectangle method by solving the maximum rectangular blank area.In addition,it is possible to obtain a large rectangular blank area by using the area of the largest rectangular blank to be obtained as the area of use.It provides the technical support for the new method proposed in this paper,and also provides an effective way for other usage of the blank area of the interactive interface.Through the experiment compare on 2 kinds of methods often usedwhen people using WIMP interface computer use multiple programs.Experimental results shows the new method is much more efficient than the method windows churn and simplifies the operation.Compared with the method that adjusts the window size,reduce pre processing operations,make the operation of the main window has more operation area,and use of procedures to automatically adjust the window operation can reduce the operating time to improve operational efficiency.
