In order to cope with the increasing growth of wireless services and applications,large-scale antenna array technology has brought new performance optimization potentials for mobile wireless communications due to its greatly improved spectral efficiency and power efficiency.However,with the wide deployment of mobile networks,the fronthaul,as the hub between the baseband processing unit pool and the antenna ends,has also ushered in the access challenges.In order to improve the performance of fronthaul,the next generation wireless access network architecture introduces the idea of functional split to alleviate the bandwidth pressure and improve the network flexibility.Under this architecture,the coexistence and sharing of optical and wireless resources increase the difficulties of joint optimization and scheduling of resources.This paper focuses on the optimization of optical and wireless resources,and the main achievements are as follows:(1)A resource optimization scheme for beamforming technology in TWDM-PON based fronthaul is proposed.This paper studied the characteristics of the adaptation between future large-scale antenna beamforming technology and TWDM-PON network architecture and for the key issues of optical and wireless resource utilization,an integer linear programming model and three algorithms are proposed for optimizing the utilization of optical and wireless resources combining with the characteristics of beam,optical resource and wireless resource.The simulation results show that the algorithm 1 with target of minimum bandwidth,the algorithm 2 with target of maximum wireless resource utilization,and the algorithm 3 with target of joint optimization of bandwidth and wireless resource utilization are able to achieve the resource optimization effect close to ILP Objective1,ILP Objective2 and ILP Objective3 respectively.(2)The core module called Bod in joint scheduling controller for optical and wireless resources is designed and implemented.The module mainly realizes the functions of resource allocation and algorithm support in the optical and wireless fields.The experimental results show that the module can cooperate with the platform in the form of SDN to realize the flexible configuration and intelligent management of fronthaul,and can provide different environments for different algorithms in the field of optical and wireless,achieving the purpose of joint scheduling of multiple resources.
