With the development of wireless technologies such as 4G and 5G,wireless network bandwidth can meet the demand of more and more services.With the popularization of wireless terminals such as mobile phones and tablet PCs,the mobile services has brought rapid growth.Among these mobile services,video applications account for the largest share,and its growth rate is the fatest,a variety of colorful video applications spring up at an increasing rate.Compared to the audio and picture services,video application takes higher request on the quality of the transmission channel and the transmission rate,especially the ultra-high definition video and VR video,the resulting transmission pressure can not be ignored.Therefore,optimizing the transmission of video services is essential.Video transmission begins with the video provider's origin server,through the content distribution network(CDN),and then transmit through the base station to the user terminal.This paper considers the video transmission optimization program from two aspects of video popularity prediction and LTE resource allocation.First,This paper will introduce some common classification models and the theory of multivariate linear regression,then based on the relationship between video lifetime and long-term video popularity,that is,the longer the lifetime of the video,the greater the long-term popularity.We introduced the video lifetime as a new factor into the popularity prediction model and proposed a multivariate linear prediction model EPBLP-ML based on the video history view number,the future view number sudden increase state and the video lifetime.We validated our EPBLP_ML model with video data from Youku and the experimental results show that EPBLP_ML model reduces the prediction error by 1.58%compared to the latest model.Second,This paper focuses on the topic of wireless resource scheduling,first describes the architecture of the LTE system,introduces the relevant factors affecting radio resource scheduling,the process of resource scheduling in LTE,and the classic resource scheduling algorithm.Then,the importance of different frames types in the video is analyzed and an IFF radio resource scheduling algorithm is proposed to optimize the transmission of video's I frames.The simulation results show that the IFF algorithm can effectively reduce the I-frame transmission delay compared with the PF algorithm and the M_LWDF algorithm,and reduce the I-frame packet loss rate to a certain extent and improve the throughput of I-frame.It also improves the system's spectrum efficiency and throughput.
