With the rapid development of mobile Internet and the new concept of "Internet +",the scale of the Internet and the growing demand for Internet business have put forward higher requirements for the flexibility of networking and the high efficiency of network management.The next generation of network protocols,that is,the IPv6 protocol,uses a large number of addresses and automated network configuration capabilities to a certain extent,well adapted to the explosive network and the need for simple network configuration.SDN technology based on Open Flow protocol proposed to extract the logical control plane from the traditional network to strengthen the flexibility of data plane control and the rapid deployment of the network capacity to adapt to the application requirements of different networks.IPv6 protocol and SDN technology for the network flexible and efficient formation mechanism of the study has a great role in promoting.In the current SDN network,due to more demand for the experiment,the formation of the network mainly rely on manual manual configuration.In the IPv6 network,although the use of automatic address allocation and other automatic initialization mechanism for network formation,but not too much to consider the process of network overhead and control granularity.Thus,the introduction of IPv6 auto-initialization mechanism in the SDN network will improve the overall network efficiency,flexibility and granularity to a certain extent.On the one hand,the IPv6 network autoconfiguration mechanism can make the host in the SDN network have the plug and play capability,improve the flexibility of the SDN network and the configuration efficiency of the host network parameters.On the other hand,using the SDN network control and forwarding decoupling and programmability,the automatic configuration process of IPv6 protocol can be optimized not only to further improve the efficiency of the automatic initialization process,but also to reduce the channel overhead of the process..And the use of SDN centralized control of the characteristics,making the automatic initialization process control,to achieve the access to the host of fine-grained network management and personalized network configuration.In this paper,we mainly study the automatic initialization mechanism of IPv6 under SDN network.Firstly,we study the initialization process of IPv6 host network,and then optimize the initialization process according to the characteristics of SDN network,and propose an automatic initialization mechanism for SDN network.In order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the automatic initialization mechanism proposed in this paper,we design and implement the mechanism based on ONOS control,and then use the Mininet simulation platform to build the experimental network.The experimental results show that,compared with the traditional IPv6 network automatic initialization mechanism,the channel resource occupancy is significantly reduced.
