Face Recognition Technology Based On Deep Learning And Its Application In Intelligent Residential Area

With the development of China’s economy,people’s living standards are gradually improving and the comfort and safety of living environment have become the priority for the house owners.The intelligent security system in the residential house is essential as it is related to the personal and property safety of the entire residential house owners.At present,many of the domestic access control systems are to use IC card,password or fingerprint equipment.These identification methods require the operator to operate at close range and sometimes it is very inconvenient and has the risk of losing the card or fingerprints.The application of face recognition gives great convenience to the household to come in and go out of the residential house as well as for the visitors’ management.At the same time,it builds efficient safety management for the residential and anti-theft system.Deep learning is a new field of machine learning research.Its motivation is to establish and simulate the human brain to analyze the neural network of learning,which mimics the human brain mechanism to explain the data.Deep learning combines low-level features to form a more abstract high-level representation of the attributes of the category or characteristics to find the distributed feature representation of the data and achieve the hierarchical expression of input information.So it could effectively solve the problems of face recognition effect on the condition of different poses and different illumination,and improve the correct identification rate of access control system.This paper summarizes the characteristics and advantages of face recognition technology,and according to the security problems of the current residential area,the design of an intelligent access control system,proposed by convolution neural network model based on the classical LeNet-5 model,which is improved and applied to the face recognition access control system.In addition,this hardware architecture,the whole system of face recognition access control terminal design,chip selection,and algorithm of convolutional neural network implementation process has done a thorough introduction,to build a complete set of intelligent access control system of face recognition,and in the test to obtain satisfactory effect in practical access control system.
