The People’s Daily On The Soviet Image In The Early Years Of The Republic

The People’s Daily has constructed and enriched the Soviet image connotation by highlighting a great deal of Soviet socialist construction of political system,national defense,industrial collective farm,science and technology etc.,highlighting the superiority of the Soviet model.The Soviet Union,as a symbol of the perfect socialist form,spread widely in society.The People’s Daily fully constructed the image of the Soviet Union by reporting visits the Soviet Union of the state leaders and high-level delegations,holding commemorative activities,achievements exhibition in the construction of economic and scientific and technological.It implanted the Soviet Union’s strong and beautiful socialist image into the hearts of the masses,thus encouraging the people to devote themselves to the construction of the state socialism."Comprehensive study of the Soviet Union" and "the Soviet Union today is our tomorrow" are often used in the propaganda of the "people’s Daily" which inspiring the public’s expectations for the new society,igniting their enthusiasm for building socialism.The main task of this paper is to study the process of the People’s Daily constructing the Soviet image in the early days of China,and try to find the historical reasons,connotations and ways of constructing the Soviet image by the analysis of related reports.At the end of the thesis,the historical and practical significance are analyzed which constructing and shaping the Soviet image in the early days of the People’s Republic of China.
