| A 6-DOF robot, which is a robot with six degrees of freedom, combines knowledge with control technology, computer technology, sensor technology and other multi-disciplinary knowledge. It can move flexibly due to the six degrees of freedom. In the face of the increasing demand for talents,it is very important to develop the 6-DOF robot for the experiment teaching. This paper describes the research and development of a 6-DOF robot for experiment teaching. The robot is developed based on the LabVIEW and Arduino, and 3D printing technology is used to make the 6-DOF robot model. The interface of the operating system is designed using LabVIEW software. The open source hardware Arduino Mega is used as a connection between the computer and the robot,to control one servo and five step-motors.This device simulates the actual operation of an industrial robot, mainly used in the school laboratory training. The aim is to reduce the fund input of a single set of equipment in the laboratory, and to obtain operating experience close to actual industrial equipment with less fund. After the 6-DOF robot is made, the D-H parameter method is used to model the robot, and the kinematics analysis is carried out.Using the LabVIEW robot toolkit, the basic control of the robot model is completed. The robot control interface is designed, including the controller and control panels, which can realize the operation of "teach" and "play" modes. At last, the teach and play functions are being tested, and tested in a experiment. The results show that the robot meets the design requirements and can be used in experimental teaching. This paper studies the process of self-made laboratory equipment. The main purpose is to develop a suitable lab equipment for robot experiment teaching, and cost performance ratio is high. The use of LabVIEW and Arduino to develop the operating system can facilitate the follow-up study of a variety of models of operating systems. |
