With the rapid development of the mobile Internet,Android smart phones have become a significantly important part of people’s daily life.As the third party cloud storage applications for android have been massively applied in people’s work and life,the number of cloud storage related crimes has increased at the same time.Traditional cloud computing forensics mainly acquires evidences from cloud servers and network traffic.However,the access control in cloud servers restrains the forensics procedure in a great extent.In contrast,forensics in cloud storage client side is based on acquiring data like user cache,files,which provides conveniency,efficiency and data integrity.This research concentrates on digital mobile forensics in Android cloud storage service client side.After obtaining user’s cloud storage service accessing trace in android memory and extracting corresponding evidence,we apply the evidence in analyzing user’s behavior.The research details are as following:Firstly,the thesis chooses the most popular cloud storage service in domestic as research objects,analyzes the data storage locations,characteristics and patterns in volatile RAM and non-volatile RAM after user’s access to services.Secondly,the thesis proposes a kind of forensic analysis method to extract data in cloud storage applications.According to the key features of the data in the memory defines the corresponding structure to search and extract residual information.this method reconstruct user behavior in chronological order to assist forensic investigators retrieve cloud storage application related evidence.Thirdly,the thesis has developed an automatic android memory forensics system for cloud storage applications.This system mainly refines remaining evidence related to cloud storage service in the memory of android smartphones,and conducts further automatic correlation analysis,reproduces user behavior.Based on the experiment results,the forensics methods brought up in this research gives positive outcome.
