Antenna is indispensable to all kinds of radio equipment.Electromagnetic waves can be effectively and directly radiate based on antenna.Antenna is connected to the transceiver system through a feeder.It is an energy converter.When the system works in high frequency,the skin effect and radiation effect will be increased.And the working state of ordinary wire will be destroyed.Therefore,ordinary wire cannot be used as signal transmission.We need use radio-frequency transmission line.Rf transmission line is a closed system.The basic function of Rf transmission line is transmit signals.And electromagnetic energy will be bound in the transmission line.Antenna is evolved from a transmission line,but its function is in contrast to the transmission line because it is a open system.At the same time,it is a simple method to the theory of antenna by using the theory of transmission line.This paper discussed the implementation of a miniaturized omnidirectional microstrip antenna,and designs an antenna combined with the miniaturization technology of microstrip antenna,and studies its equivalent circuit.The height of the designed antenna is 0.03 times wavelengths,the side length is 0.1 times wavelengths.The bandwidth of SWR less than 2 is 2%.It has good omnidirectional characteristics.After the simulation and optimization with the electromagnetic simulation software HFSS,the physical antenna model is finally tested.
