Museums have a vast reservoir of tangible and spiritual cultural heritages,with comprehensive reflection of human intelligence outcomes in different times and districts.They are spokespersons of some district and national culture while telling changes and inheritances of cultures.According to the latest definition of museums defined by International Council of Museums,it is observed that as non-governmental organizations,museums undertake tasks to provide knowledge and communicate culture for the wide visitors at the same time.To some extent,museum is a special media.With the development of internet technology and the improvement of media level,the culture communication of museums also has more communication modes and opportunities to realize.National museum is a professional museum which takes national minority as the core,belonging to a special classification of Chinese museums.There are many kinds of national museum in China which are widely distributed with different contents.They play an important role in protecting national culture relics and communicating national cultures,providing rich resources for museum career of China.Although,Chinese national museums have make some achievements,it cannot be ignored that there is plenty of room for improvement whatever in quantity or quality.Seen from the current circumstances,the strategies of Chinese national museum culture communication are conservative,with outdated communication modes and limited communication effects.With the increasing attention on museum career paid by China and further development of cultural relic and museum career,Chinese national museums are faced with huge pressure of competition.Excellent national culture contained in museums is lack of effective communication channels.Therefore,how to enrich modes of national museum culture communication and how to optimize strategies of nationalities museum culture communication have positive significance for the development and culture communication of national museums.The explorations for national museum culture communication of this thesis are mainly bases on the following aspects.Firstly,through teasing Chinese national museums and culture communication conceptions,clarify the characteristics of national museum culture communication.Secondly,through analyzing the current situation of Chinese national museum culture communication and analyzing the related cases under the view and theories of communication summarize the present problems of Chinese national museum culture communication.Thirdly,based on the case of Yunnan nationalities museum,through empirical investigation for audiences to learn about their fundamental perceptions and assessments of national museum culture communication,investigate the effects of national museum culture communication.Fourthly,combining with audience demands,provide suggestions from aspects of principles and specific ways of making culture communication strategies for national museums.This thesis adopts various research methods comprehensively while in the view of multiple subjects to provide valuable references for the improvement of Chinese nationali museum future culture communication.
