The MG project (Management Game) is a training course of simulation business studied and developed by Carnegie Mellon University in US. A globalized market competitive environment in simulation watch industry is constructed by multiple international schools with the help of computer and network technology. Normally there are 4-5 students in each business operation team who operate and manage a simulation multinational company jointly and participate in globalized competition. Each company will produce and sell two kinds of products of watch which are low-end price-sensitive and high-end quality-sensitive. Each company will choose two production bases and sell the products of their own among the six countries which are Japan, Mexico, China, UK, Germany and US. The management team will simulate the operating company for three annual operations. It will make the development strategy, marketing strategy, financial strategy and production strategy before each annual operation. After each annual operation it will report to the board of directors formed by instructors and advisors outside school. Based on the contents of the report the board of directors will give questions and comments on business situation and the performance of team members. The evaluation of team members will be made according to the operation results.TIS watch company limited by shares (TIS company) is the one operated by the management team formed by four MBA students who come from class 3 grade 2011 in business administration faculty North East University. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) was assumed by Zhou Kai who was responsible for the planning of the overall operation and development strategy. Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) was assumed by Wang Jian who was responsible for making and implementing the marketing strategy of the company. Chief Operating Officer (COO) was assumed by Dong Changli who was responsible for making and implementing production strategy, the operation and production and development in two factories. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) was assumed by Zhao Yao who was responsible for making and implementing financial strategy.First of all, the analysis of the inner and outer business circumstances the TIS company was in was made systematically. The planning of the development strategy of the TIS company for year 2013-2015 was made according to the development trend in watch industry world-wide and the operation philosophy of the company. Secondly, it described the strategy execution, implementation, evaluation and adjustment in the simulation operation of TIS company. The strategy planning and implementing were summarized and analyzed based on relevant theories. The thesis took the TIS company for instance, the thoughts concerning the problems and new situations arising during the process of strategy making and implementing were collected. The planning of the development strategy for year 2016-2018 was raised based on the re-planning and design of the one in TIS company. It was the practical experiences of the authors of the thesis in the last part.
