Application Of Income Approach In Mechanical Engineering In The Field Of Patent Valuation

On patent value assessment methods,the income approach is currently the most widely used.While comparing the income approach is more reasonable,but since it is determined the discount rate to take into account more factors influence,it is difficult to ensure accuracy.Patent valuation methods described by the deficiency of traditional assessment methods in previous studies on the basis of patent valuation,investigate suitable for mechanical engineering,namely to improve the income approach,the use of AHP,the main parameters affecting the assessment of such income years,earnings expectations,into the rate,the discount rate factors specific gravity assignments,combined with practical cases to be validated to prove its rationality and feasibility.In this paper,Hengda company developed a new type of fuel oil in the patent case studies to assess the object,first using the traditional income approach to assess its value,and then use the analytic hierarchy process adjustment coefficients obtained by re-empowering,factors affecting adjusted improved assessment of the income approach,the final phase compared with the actual transaction price,by comparison can be found,the result of improved earnings method is more realistic assessment of the transaction value,but also more reasonable.Finally,the improved income approach to assess the value of patents summarized and made a number of recommendations to further improve the income approach and it can be better used in the patent-kind assessment.
