The competition within the internet enterprises is actually the competition of high technology and new business model. The emergence of high technology and new business model is derived from the innovation of enterprises. Our government has been always encouraging enterprises to carry out independent innovation, because the independent innovation is beneficial to improve the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises.However, due to many Internet companies in China started later than in western developed countries, so the ability of the Internet technology innovation is far behind the developed countries, particularly the United States. According to the basic national conditions of our country and the research of scholars, the most effective strategy that Chinese internet enterprises can take is the imitation innovation strategy. But the history data tells us, most of Chinese internet firms' imitation actions are ending with failure,we can hardly found the successful case, so the research of how Chinese internet firms imitate foreign internet firms' business model has a strong a strong practical significance.Firstly, this article described the research status of imitation-innovation theory in detail;Secondly, summarized the domestic and foreign scholars' research result of business model;Thirdly, cleared the theory basis of this article,i.e. Business model canvas, this model is consist of 9 elements: value proposition, customer relationship,Customer segmentation,access channels, key business, key resources, important cooperation, cost structure, source of income; Fourthly, analyzed the difference of imitators and be imitators' country environment.Fifthly, compared the internet developing environment between China and other country.Summarized these foreign Internet companies have encountered obstacles when they want to enter the Chinese market. In the face of these encountered obstacles, Chinese Internet companies can gain enlightenment. Finally, use the example of Taobao and Yiqu to supporting the full view of this article.Through the business model imitation innovation research model of internet firms and the case evidence of chapter 4, we may safely draw the general ideas of how Chinese Internet firms imitate and innovate other firms' business model business model. First of all,the contrast analysis of the external environment of Chinese and foreign Internet companies.Enterprises can analyze enterprise external environment both from macroscopic and microscopic aspects. In the view of macro environment, we can use PEST analysismodel to compare the difference of Chinese and foreign political, economic, cultural,technology. On the micro level, we can analyze the difference from the the aspects of market demand, the environment of competition,the environment of resources, the maturity of upstream and downstream industries, industry laws and regulations. Secondly, according to the comparative of external environment, we should found out the different of external environment between imitator and be imitator and found out the conflict between the two.The differences of environmental performance: spending habits differences, the differences of the consumption level, the differences of credit level and good faith consciousness, the difference of the maturity of the logistics industry, the differences between the Internet penetration, etc.Then, analyze the impact, which environment discrepancies do to business model imitation, from the perspective of the business model canvas elements.In this paper, the imitation innovation model of internet business model not only suitable for Chinese Internet companies, but also suitable for other countries.
