In recent years,the city commercial banks is rapidly developing as "third tier" of Chinese banking industry.The assets growth rate of these banks rank forefront with expanding market share and enhanced comprehensive competitiveness.What's more,the city commercial banks play an important role as the supplement to other medium-sized commercial banks,and have become an important part of the banking industry.Although the city commercial banks are developing rapidly,the significant deficiencies still exists.It is helpful to the future development of the city commercial banks if they can point out deficiencies and take out improvement program.This article takes competitiveness of enterprises as the theoretical basis,taking the business characteristics into account(like bank liquidity,safety and profitability).The paper will focus on the competitiveness of city commercial banks in China.In the first part,the research background and the significance of this study is discussed at first.Then determine the research ideas and innovation and shortcomings of this paper through the research review.The second part is the theoretical basis of the article.It analysis respectively from the competitiveness of enterprises,commercial banks competitiveness and competitiveness evaluation.In the third part,we make a review of the development of city commercial banks in China and describe the historical contribution and development.The competitiveness of city commercial banks is analyzed in the fourth part.It lists some principles to evaluate the competitiveness of city commercial banks.Also uses SWOT methods to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats.The fifth part,introduces the basic situation of Nanchang bank,also through the SWOT analysis of Nanchang bank,and gives the strategic choice in Nanchang bank competitiveness.The sixth part,based on the above theoretical analysis and case analysis,six countermeasures in Nanchang bank competitiveness is given.
